I’m back with another easy, flavorful meal: my High-Protein Chicken Caesar Wrap. I love anything Caesar — it’s a classic for a reason. I built this wrap around grilled chicken and crisp romaine, then added pasture-raised bacon, hemp seeds, and avocado for extra protein, healthy fats, and texture. It’s simple to assemble, nutrient-dense, and makes a perfect lunch or quick dinner.

A WINNING WRAP
What I love most about this wrap is its ease and versatility. You can toss the ingredients together in a bowl, warm a large tortilla, and wrap it up in minutes. The protein comes from organic grilled chicken, pasture-raised bacon, and hemp seeds, while avocado provides healthy fats and romaine offers a crisp, refreshing crunch plus vitamin C and antioxidants. Packed with flavor and nutrients, it’s a balanced option that hits all the right notes.
If you want to save time, grill the chicken and cook the bacon ahead of time, and portion extras of the mix-ins so you can assemble wraps all week. When I have a little extra time, I make my dairy-free Caesar dressing to use in this wrap or on salads. The dressing is flexible — use a favorite store-bought version or homemade. This wrap is an easy, delicious way to get more protein and greens into your day.

INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED:
- Burrito-size tortilla (use your favorite — grain-free options work well)
- Romaine lettuce, chopped
- Organic chicken breast, grilled and cut into bite-sized pieces
- Pasture-raised bacon, cooked and chopped
- Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
- Avocado, chopped
- Green onion, chopped
- Hemp seeds
HOW TO MAKE A CHICKEN CAESAR WRAP
1. In a medium bowl, combine the romaine, grilled chicken, bacon, avocado, green onion, hemp seeds, and 2–3 tablespoons of Caesar dressing. Toss until everything is evenly coated. Set aside.
2. Warm the tortilla over medium heat until it becomes pliable, then transfer it to a plate.
3. Spoon the salad mixture onto the tortilla. Fold the ends in, then roll the tortilla tightly to form the wrap.
4. Heat 1–2 tablespoons of avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, place the wrap seam-side down in the skillet and sear for 1–2 minutes per side to crisp the exterior and help seal the seam. Serve warm and enjoy.

RECIPE SUBSTITUTIONS & QUESTIONS
Use whatever greens you prefer if romaine isn’t on hand; baby spinach, mixed greens, or kale (massaged) are all good options. For dressing, any Caesar-style or creamy dressing works — store-bought or homemade. If you prefer a vegetarian version, roasted mushrooms or seasoned tempeh can replace bacon. Add shredded cheese or grated Parmesan if you’re not avoiding dairy, or spice it up with hot sauce for extra kick.
For the tortilla, pick a sturdy option that holds up to folding. If you use grain-free or plant-based tortillas, warm them first so they’re more flexible. To help keep the wrap closed, sear it seam-side down in the skillet; adding a small amount of shredded cheese near the seam will also help it seal as the cheese melts.

WHAT IS CLASSIC CAESAR DRESSING MADE OF?
Classic Caesar dressing typically includes garlic, anchovy or anchovy paste, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Parmigiano-Reggiano, salt, and pepper. Some variations use capers in place of anchovies to achieve a similar tangy umami flavor. Homemade dressings are easy to adjust, so experiment with ingredient amounts until you find the balance you like.
HOW TO PREVENT TORTILLAS FROM BREAKING WHEN FOLDING?
To avoid cracking, warm the tortilla before filling so it becomes pliable. Heat over an open flame or in a dry skillet briefly. After rolling, place the wrap seam-side down in a hot skillet to sear and seal. If using cheese, placing a small amount near the seam will melt and help keep the wrap closed.
