What I Bought at the Grocery Store After 19 Days Away

Watch my grocery haul Reel HERE 🙂

I’m walking you through how I restocked our very empty fridge and pantry. One tip that makes shopping simpler: plan a few meals at a time. It reduces the number of ingredients you need and keeps you flexible so you aren’t stuck with meals you don’t feel like eating later in the week. I typically plan around three recipes and then add staples. I usually return to the store in about two to four days—this approach works well for our household.

The meals I’ll be making from this haul include Immune Boosting Shots (from my cookbook), One-Pan Enchilada Skillet, and Pistachio Crusted Fish Tacos (also from the cookbook). These recipes help shape most of the list below.

PRODUCE
Avocados, asparagus, cilantro, green onion, broccolini, bell peppers, bananas, ginger root, jalapeños, purple cabbage, lemons, limes, oranges, red onion, mango

SNACKS
Country Archer Provisions grass-fed beef sticks, Simple Mills gluten-free crackers, RXBARs (my go-to pre-workout snack), Siete salt & vinegar chips and lime tortilla chips

REFRIGERATED / FROZEN
Almond milk (we go through a lot—Whole Foods 365 unsweetened for smoothies and Three Trees for coffees/matchas), Siete cassava tortillas and organic flour tortillas, Kite Hill dairy-free sour cream, pepper jack goat cheese, Ardor natural energy drinks, frozen organic raspberries for smoothies

PROTEINS
Grass-fed organic ground beef, organic ground turkey, organic spicy Italian chicken sausages (Whole Foods 365), pasture-raised eggs, wild-caught cod from the freezer (Butcher Box)

OTHER
Siete spicy taco seasoning, organic basmati rice, Spindrift sparkling water, Santa Cruz peanut butter (no added oils or sugar), pistachios, a new 30-ounce Stanley mug

My shopping strategy keeps things simple: buy core staples, pick three recipes to center the week around, and include easy snacks and breakfast items. This minimizes waste, keeps meals fresh, and makes midweek runs quick if something runs out. Happy shopping—and if you want to see the haul in motion, check out the Reel linked above.
