Ingredients

  • 10 oz organic frozen raspberries, thawed, (or 3-4 cups fresh organic raspberries)
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • splash of honey or maple syrup (optional for extra sweetness)

Instructions

  • This jam works with fresh or frozen raspberries. If using frozen berries, thaw them in the refrigerator overnight. Once thawed, place the raspberries in a jar or bowl and stir in the chia seeds until evenly combined. If you prefer a smoother jam, lightly mash the berries with a fork before adding chia.
  • Cover the jar and refrigerate for at least one hour to allow the chia seeds to absorb liquid and thicken the jam. For a thicker texture, refrigerate longer. Taste and add a splash of honey or maple syrup if you want extra sweetness, then stir to combine.
  • Store the jam in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4–5 days. Use it as a spread on toast, a topping for yogurt and granola, stirred into chia pudding, or anywhere you would use jam.
