Wraps and Sandwiches I Can’t Stop Making

I recently jumped on the recipe-series trend on Instagram, inspired by Bridger, and launched a short collection I call “Wraps and Sandwiches.” A great sandwich is one of life’s simple pleasures, so I wanted to share a few favorites that are easy to make, satisfying, and perfect for lunches or casual dinners.

Avocado Turkey Pesto Paninis

If you’re stuck in a lunch rut or just want to change up your sandwich routine, these avocado turkey pesto paninis are a delicious fix. They combine creamy avocado, sliced turkey, bright pesto, and perfectly pressed sourdough for a crisp exterior and soft center—pure comfort and great texture in every bite. The combination is filling without being heavy, making it an ideal midweek meal.

High-Protein Chicken Caesar Wrap

This high-protein chicken Caesar wrap is a satisfying, nutrient-dense option. Adding crispy bacon, hemp seeds, and avocado boosts flavor and texture while increasing the protein and healthy fats. A good wrap is endlessly versatile—it travels well, reheats nicely, and makes a great lunch or light dinner. I love this rendition and think you will too.

Italian Sub Paninis

These Italian sub paninis are loaded with classic deli flavors: salami, soppressata, turkey, spicy peppers, cheese, pepperoncini, and ripe tomatoes. They’re bold, satisfying, and perfect when you want something hearty. Gather your favorite cured meats and fresh toppings, press them on crusty bread, and be ready to impress anyone who’s lucky enough to share the meal with you.

Steak Sandwiches With Chimichurri

After Bridger raved about a steak chimichurri sandwich he’d had following a round of golf, I decided to recreate it at home. It was my first time making a steak sandwich, and it turned out wonderfully—the bright, herbaceous chimichurri pairs perfectly with tender, sliced steak and crunchy bread. If you’re up for a slightly more involved but truly rewarding sandwich, this one is worth trying.

Avo Egg Salad Sandwich

The avo egg salad sandwich might be the one I make most often—it’s one of my all-time favorite lunches. This version is mayo-free, relying on ripe avocado for creaminess, and works beautifully on toast, in a sandwich, or with crackers. I love it so much I included it in my cookbook. It’s simple, quick, and consistently satisfying.
