Cook on medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes until the steak is seared and mostly cooked. It’s important to cook the meat with spices and seasonings for the most flavor. You can always substitute the steak with ground beef, chicken, ground turkey, or your protein of choice!

Add enchilada sauce and black beans (drain them first) and then cook for an additional 5 minutes. Drained pinto beans can also be used. The red enchilada sauce is mild and filled with tons of Mexican flavor. It’s the evenly creamy sauce to add to a burrito skillet!

Our favorite part is, you can eat it as is or add in all kinds of satisfying things you love in a burrito (like corn, potatoes, rice, etc.). This straightforward burrito skillet has all of your burrito fixings tossed together in one pan!
